Hilton Harvest

Hilton Harvest Community Garden, http://hiltonharvest.weebly.com/index.html on the grounds of Hilton Primary School, was initiated in 2009 by a group of residents living in Hilton.  A garden that encourages people to come together and share diverse approaches to life. 

Recently students from Hilton Primary entered a ‘Build A Scarecrow’ competion held by Hilton Harvest.  Each class created scarecrows of many different shapes and sizes. These were then displayed in the community garden.

Community Playgroup

A local playgroup, meet once a week in “the purple building” on Rennie Crescent South. A summer weekend at the close of  saw school and community members coming together to paint the internal and external walls of the building, and we now have a lovely setting, inside and out.
